Daily Schedule

We start each day’s session promptly at 9 a.m. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to check-in and receive materials on the first day. We fit in a few 15-minute breaks, take an hour for lunch, and end by 6 p.m. daily.

To make the most of your 3-day experience we strongly recommend staying until the end of the seminar, at 6 pm on Thursday. If your travel plans call for you to leave early you'll miss critical content to help you implement what you've learned.

Travel & Transportation

Parking: Please plan to arrive by 8:45 am. Parking at the hotel costs $10/day for self-park, $15/day for valet. There are 3 complimentary electric car charging stations.

Flying: We recommend you make airline reservations to arrive at Burlington International Airport (Airport Code: BTV) on Monday, Apr. 16. If you’re flying back home on Thursday night, please choose a flight departure time after 7:30 pm to allow yourself enough time to get to the airport and check-in. For most people it will make sense to travel home on Friday, Apr. 20. Be sure you have a valid passport if traveling internationally.

Ground Transportation from the Airport: To get to our seminar hotel from the airport you can rent a car, take a taxi, or summon an app-based ride. Top-rated local taxi companies are: Green Cab, (802) 316-0700 and Champ's Taxi, (802) 598-4002. A ride using UberX is estimated at $11-14. Our seminar hotel, Courtyard Marriott Burlington Harbor, does not have shuttle service but is a short 4-mile ride from the airport.


Please refer to the Participant List at left to review the details of your reservation, and have your confirmation number handy at check-in. Your room reservation at Courtyard Marriott Burlington Harbor is within our event block, so please contact us (and not the hotel) if you have any questions or need to make any changes to your reservation.

The hotel's check-in time is 3 pm. Your prepaid lodging fee covers room and tax only, and a credit card will be required at check-in to cover parking and any incidentals. You’ll enjoy superior comfort and amenities including:

Meals & Evenings

Your seminar registration includes catered natural foods lunches from our host store. Please check the Participant List at left to verify your lunch preference.

Tuesday evening you’re invited to join us for a reception at our seminar hotel, catered by their renowned Bleu Northeast Seafood
kitchen. This is an ideal place to network and talk shop with new colleagues.

Wednesday evening we’ll enjoy dinner and a behind-the-scenes tour at City Market Onion River Co-op.

Dinners on the first and third nights are on your own.

Breakfast is on your own. The hotel offer’s a range of breakfast options, including hot cooked-to-order meals, from 7 am daily.

Our seminar room will be well-stocked with healthy and tempting organic snacks and beverages, including organic coffees provided by Equal Exchange.

What To Bring

Casual attire will be fashionably appropriate and we recommend you dress in layers for optimal comfort in our seminar room. Please check the weather forecast before you leave so you can pack appropriately.

We’ll have everything you’ll need during the seminar. Please bring your best self, with a good night’s rest and a mind toward participating in a chance to grow and improve -- not just as a grocer and a leader, but as a whole person.
